Job summary

Vistry Group PLC in Warwickshire seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead on-site delivery of new build housing and multi-story projects. You will plan, coordinate, and oversee construction from start to finish, managing budgets, schedules, resources, and teams to deliver to required quality standards.

You will liaise with partners, customers, contractors and stakeholders, drive health and safety, and champion a culture of collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Experience on new build multi-story or housing projects.
  • Experience in health and safety management on construction sites.
  • SMSTS certificate and First Aid at Work required.
  • NVQ Level 6/7 or BTEC in Building Construction or similar.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety and welfare of all individuals on site.
  • Lead project delivery with high standards of quality, time and client relations.
  • Manage internal and external teams to meet project goals.
  • Develop and coach team members, encouraging growth and providing constructive feedback.
  • Oversee project meetings, resource plans and supply chain requirements.
  • Maintain adherence to on-site processes and quality management.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team in Vistry South West Midlands, responsible for our Lighthorne site in Gaydon, Warwickshire. As our Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from start to finish. You will manage budgets, schedules, resources, and teams to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role involves liaising with Partners, Customers, contractors, and stakeholders, as well as handling risks, issues, and compliance.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Project and Asta Team plan
  • Up to date knowledge of Health and Safety obligations and building legislation
  • A good understanding of the considerate contractor’s requirements to achieve high scores
