Isembard is building a network of high-performance factories for critical industries. We combine advanced machine tools, robotics and our own software, MasonOS, to make precision components for aerospace, defence, energy and frontier technology companies, with factories across the UK, US, Germany and France. Our mission is to forge industrial acceleration.
Our key customers need a trusted, technical, day-to-day contact who knows their parts, their programmes and their deadlines. The Technical Account Manager is that person.
You will own a set of customer relationships, handle quoting and design-for-manufacture questions, and make sure parts arrive on time and to specification. We grow accounts by being a reliable partner that communicates well, and this role is central to that.
Own a set of customer accounts as their main point of contact.
Run technical calls with customer engineers, review drawings for manufacturability and give practical DFM feedback.
Prepare quotes with factory and CAM teams.
Track every active order, and raise schedule or quality risk before the customer has to ask.
Visit customers on site to understand their projects and what they need on cost, quality and lead time.
Work with Quality on nonconformance and corrective action.
Grow your accounts alongside the wider commercial team.
A mechanical engineering background or hands‑on CNC machining experience.
Confidence reading drawings and discussing tolerances, materials and lead times.
Clear communication, and composure when a date slips or a part is wrong.
Strong organisation across several accounts and many open orders.
We are open to early‑career engineers with the right technical grounding.
Account management, customer success or technical sales in manufacturing.
Aerospace or defence experience.
CAM, quoting or estimating experience.
Work at the front line with customers in aerospace, defence and other critical industries.
Work closely with machinists, CAM programmers and quality engineers.
Competitive salary and equity.
Location: On‑site at our Southwark factory in London, with travel to customer sites.
