Job summary

White & Case in London is seeking a qualified IP/tech and commercial contracts associate with 3-5 PQE to join our fast-growing transactional IP, Tech & Commercial practice.

You will advise on IP, IT and tech contracts, draft and negotiate complex agreements, identify IP risks, and support business development across international transactions.

This role offers exposure to M&A, joint ventures and carve-outs, with collaboration across London and global offices.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial contracts with IP/tech focus.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to advise clients on IP/technology and transactional issues.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on IP, IT, tech and commercial contract issues across sectors.
• Advise clients on substantive non-contentious IP law issues.
• Draft and negotiate complex technology and other strategic contracts (distribution, reseller, manufacturing, supply, R&D, outsourcing).
• Identify IP risks on transactions and advise pragmatically.
