Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors is seeking a skilled governance, risk and compliance professional to identify, assess and report technology risks and control weaknesses. You will collaborate with technology teams to review evidence, investigate exceptions and drive remediation while supporting regulatory and audit activities.

The role emphasizes governance, risk awareness and continuous improvement across technology, with hybrid working and strong development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in governance, risk and compliance (GRC) and IT risk management.
• Knowledge of control assurance techniques and risk assessment methodologies.
• Experience supporting assurance, regulatory, audit or control activities.
• Ability to review evidence, identify exceptions and document conclusions.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and judgement.
• Clear written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborative with stakeholders across Technology, Risk, Compliance and Audit.
• Ability to manage priorities and maintain organized documentation.
• Ability to produce concise, management-ready reporting.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, document and report technology risks, issues and control weaknesses.
• Assess controls design and operation; review evidence, identify exceptions, document conclusions.
• Perform gap analyses against policies, standards and regulatory requirements; propose improvements.
• Collaborate with owners to investigate exceptions and agree remediation; track to closure.
• Coordinate evidence requests and responses for regulatory and audit activity; help resolve findings.
• Contribute to GRC procedures, control testing, evidence standards, reporting and tooling.
• Prepare concise reports on risks, control effectiveness, and remediation progress for management.
• Support governance forums by coordinating inputs, materials and action tracking.
• Promote governance, risk awareness, control discipline and continuous improvement.
• Carry out other duties as assigned
