Job summary

Janus Henderson Group is seeking an IT risk and control professional to support the identification, assessment and reporting of technology risks across the organization. You will review evidence, identify exceptions and collaborate with technology teams to strengthen controls.

Qualifications

• Experience in technology governance, risk and compliance.
• Knowledge of IT risk, IT controls and risk assessment methodologies.
• Experience supporting assurance, regulatory, audit or control reviews.
• Ability to review evidence and document balanced conclusions.
• Strong communication to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support the identification, assessment, documentation and reporting of technology risks, issues and control weaknesses.
• Help assess whether key technology controls are appropriately designed and operating effectively, including reviewing evidence, identifying exceptions and documenting balanced conclusions.
• Undertake gap analysis against technology policies, standards, regulatory requirements and control expectations, identifying practical opportunities to strengthen controls and processes.
• Work with control owners and technology teams to investigate exceptions, agree remediation actions and track progress to closure.
• Support regulatory, audit and assurance activity by coordinating evidence requests and responses.
• Contribute to governance, risk and compliance procedures, control testing approaches, evidence standards or tooling.
• Prepare concise reporting on technology risks and remediation progress.
• Support governance forums by coordinating inputs and tracking decisions.
• Promote governance and continuous improvement across Technology.
• Carry out other duties as assigned
