Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors seeks a technology risk and compliance professional to identify, assess and report technology risks, controls and remediation actions. You will support assurance activities, document evidence and coordinate with control owners to drive improvements.

The role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder communication and the ability to work across Technology, Risk, Compliance and Audit teams in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in technology governance, risk and compliance, IT risk, IT audit, and control assurance.
• Strong knowledge of technology risks, controls and assessment methodologies.
• Experience supporting assurance, regulatory, audit, risk assessment or control review activity.
• Ability to review evidence, identify exceptions and document balanced conclusions.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with sound risk judgement.
• Clear written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to work across Technology, Risk, Compliance, Information Security and Audit teams.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and follow actions through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Support the identification, assessment, documentation and reporting of technology risks, issues and control weaknesses.
• Help assess whether key technology controls are appropriately designed and operating effectively, including reviewing evidence and documenting conclusions.
• Undertake gap analysis against technology policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with control owners to investigate exceptions and track remediation to closure.
• Coordinate evidence requests for regulatory, audit and assurance activity.
• Contribute to governance, risk and compliance procedures and reporting.
• Prepare clear reporting on technology risks and remediation progress for management.
• Support governance forums by coordinating inputs and tracking actions.
• Promote governance, risk awareness and continuous improvement across Technology.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
