Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors is seeking an experienced technology risk and governance professional to join our risk and compliance function. You will identify, assess and report on technology risks, assist in evaluating control design and operation, and collaborate with control owners and tech teams to drive remediation.

Qualifications

• Experience in technology governance, risk and compliance.
• Good working knowledge of technology risks, IT controls and control assurance techniques.
• Experience supporting assurance, regulatory, audit, risk assessment or control review activity.
• Ability to review evidence, identify exceptions and document clear, balanced conclusions.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with judgement in assessing risks and control effectiveness.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including explaining risk to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborative approach across Technology, Risk, Compliance, Information Security and Audit stakeholders.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and follow actions through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, document and report technology risks, issues and control weaknesses.
• Assess whether key technology controls are designed and operating effectively, reviewing evidence and documenting conclusions.
• Undertake gap analysis against policies, standards and regulatory requirements; identify opportunities to strengthen controls.
• Collaborate with control owners and technology teams to investigate exceptions and track remediation to closure.
• Support regulatory, audit and assurance activity by coordinating evidence requests and stakeholder responses.
