Job summary

Environment Agency is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Technology Governance team. You will help develop and implement improved governance and assurance for how we build new digital products, and streamline our pipeline of digital initiatives.

You may also explore requirements and options for replacing legacy shadow IT, with adaptable roles across diverse priorities. You will work across the team to analyse workflows, engage with technical and non-technical colleagues, and support delivery

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a digital or government setting– typically 3 years’ experience and/or a professional qualification.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
• Comfortable working with a wide range of technical and non-technical colleagues
• Good organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver to tight timescales
• Good communication and influencing skills and can work effectively with others
• Ability to manage yourself and work on your own initiative.
• Effective data analysis, interpretation, presentation, and communication skills
