Job summary

Government Recruitment Service is recruiting a Senior Business Analyst for DVSA's Digital Services and Technology Directorate. The role focuses on delivering value by defining and validating digital projects, maintaining a prioritized backlog and working with Product Owners and technical teams to produce timely, quality solutions.

You will mentor other business analysts, potentially line-manage colleagues, and contribute to the professional community.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to define and validate digital projects, aligning with strategic objectives.
• Ability to maintain and prioritise product/solutions backlog.
• Experience mentoring other business analysts and contributing to practice communities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and refine backlog items, ensuring clear user needs and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate communications across Product Owners, developers and testers.
• Identify, escalate and resolve risks, issues and changes affecting the backlog.
• Provide line management support to other business analysts where applicable.
