Employal is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Portishead to design and deliver transport solutions for customers with UK and European requirements. You will work with customers, transport partners and internal teams from quotation to delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience within transport, logistics or freight forwarding.
• Strong understanding of road freight operations throughout the United Kingdom and Europe.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• The ability to influence customers, suppliers and colleagues.
• Strong commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer enquiries and develop tailored logistics solutions.
• Produce accurate and commercially competitive quotations.
• Source and negotiate with transport providers across the United Kingdom and Europe.
• Manage consignments from quotation through to successful delivery.
• Monitor live movements and resolve operational issues before they impact customers.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and transport partners.
• Influence internal teams and external providers to achieve the best outcome.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes through technology and automation.
• Support the continued development of innovative logistics solutions.
