Job summary

Engage Education in Manchester is seeking a caring, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in an SEN environment. You will work 1:1 and in small groups, helping learners access activities and develop confidence.

The role emphasizes supporting communication, social and emotional development, independence, behaviour, and personal care where needed. A truly rewarding opportunity to make a difference.

Qualifications

  • Experience with SEN, SEND, ASC, ADHD, SEMH, SLD or PMLD would be highly desirable.
  • Experience in education, care, support work or youth work would also be considered.
  • If you don't have direct SEN experience but have the right attitude and transferable skills, we'd still love to hear from you.

Engage Education are currently recruiting for a caring, enthusiastic and resilient Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming SEN school in Tameside.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs and wants to make a genuine difference to their education and development.

The Role
  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis.
