Job summary

The Up in Arms, part of Dodo Pub Co., is hiring a Team Member to join our friendly neighbourhood pub in Oxford. You’ll help in bar and kitchen service, build genuine connections with locals, and support managers in day-to-day operations with a positive attitude and great people skills.

We offer 21+ £12.72 per hour, U21 £10.85 per hour, a 100% service charge to the team, food on shift, 20% off food and drink, and learning opportunities plus a fantastic work/life balance and annual party.

Qualifications

• Strong team-oriented hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Support bar and kitchen service as part of a busy pub team.
• Assist managers with day-to-day operations and guest experience.

We’re looking for: A motivated and passionate Team Member to join our crew!

The Up in Arms is part of the Dodo Pub Co – known for top-notch Neapolitan pizzas, burgers, and unbeatable vibes. At our core, we’re neighbourhood pubs dedicated to serving products we’re 100% proud of, delivered by people who are 100% committed to what they do.

From the bar: We offer a wide selection of craft beers, wines, and cocktails – all served by knowledgeable and passionate staff to customers who care about quality and community.

From the kitchen: We serve authentic Neapolitan pizzas cooked at 450°C in our pizza oven, alongside tasty award winning burgers, and sides that hit the spot.

We’re all about community, so you’ll be expected to build genuine connections with locals and support our managers in the day-to-day running of the pub. You’ll need to be a strong team player with great people skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for delivering top-notch hospitality.
