Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC in Grimsby is seeking friendly Soft Play Team Members to help maintain a safe, fun environment for children and assist parents with needs. You should love working with kids, have a good sense of humour and be organised.

A DBS check is required for successful applicants. You’ll handle guest queries, greet visitors, keep the reception tidy, help run birthday parties, face painting and balloon modelling, and enjoy generous staff discounts and benefits.

Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards of play for all children, while promoting a happy yet safe atmosphere, overseeing the soft play area and assisting parents with any needs. It goes without saying that you must love working with children, have a good sense of humour and be a responsible and organised person.

Due to the nature of the role, successful applicants will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of the recruitment process.

What You’ll Do In This Role

• Answering guest queries on products, prices & house facilities/activities
• Dealing with enquiries by telephone in a warm & friendly manner, endeavouring at all times to accommodate their requests
• Ensure a clean & tidy environment at all times & ensure that the reception area is tidy & ready for service at all times
• Help create a fun, exciting & safe environment so that every guest leaves wanting to return
• Help run children’s Birthday parties, taking control and interacting with the children
• Face painting & Balloon modelling
• Selling of various food and drink items to guests
