Job summary

Benugo is hiring team members to support Front of House and Kitchen operations within John Lewis stores. The role covers service across a full-time or part-time basis, with an hourly rate of £12.71 and a 5-out-of-7 pattern, including regular weekend work.

You will deliver high standards of service, prepare and serve quality food and beverages, maintain a clean workspace, and support promotional activities while representing WSH and John Lewis professionally.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the customer experience is maintained to the highest standard at all times.
• Assisting with kitchen, front of house and back of house cleaning duties.
• Organising deliveries and ensuring fridges are stocked using FIFO.
• Clearing tables and maintaining a clean working environment.
• Ensuring labels and prices are correct and up to date.
• Maintaining awareness of promotions, pricing and product information.
• Working on tills, handling cash, taking orders and serving food and drinks.
• Following food safety, allergen and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Collaborating with colleagues to meet service targets and smooth operations.
• Attending training and development courses as requested.

You will offer the highest standard of service, providing a positive and efficient customer experience by preparing and serving quality food and beverages, maintaining a clean work environment, and delivering excellent customer service.

Job Description

Contract: Full Time or Part time

Hourly Rate: £12.71ph

• Ensuring the customer experience is maintained to the highest standard at all times.
• Assisting with any kitchen, front of house and back of house cleaning duties.
• To organise deliveries, and ensuring the fridges are stocked, using a first in, first out process.
• Assisting with clearing tables and maintaining a clean working environment.
• To ensure all labels and prices are correct.
• Maintain awareness of promotions, pricing and product information.
• To be flexible to work on tills, following the cash handling procedures, taking orders and working on the floor, serving food and drinks.
• Follow food safety, allergen and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet service targets and maintain smooth operations.
• To attend all training and development course as requested.
• To always represent WSH and John Lewis in a professional manner in your behaviour appearance and knowledge.
• To carry out any other reasonable duties as required by management.
