Rodeo Bar in Birmingham is seeking a Team Member to join our kitchen crew. You will maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, plateware and utensils in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition while assisting in food preparation and dishwashing throughout the shift.

You will set up and use the mechanical dishwasher, keep the food line stocked with clean plates, and complete end-of-shift sanitation tasks. Training is provided and there are opportunities for growth within our team.

Job Description

As a Team Member, you will be responsible for maintaining kitchen work areas, equipment, plateware ware and utensils in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition while assisting in food preparation procedures. Duties of this position will include setting up, using, and maintaining the mechanical dishwasher for the duration of the shift, keeping the food line stocked with clean plates, and performing multiple cleaning and sanitation tasks at the end of the shift, including work area and restrooms.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and carry items up to 70 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods (up to an entire shift)
• Bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull regularly for operations, stocking, and equipment use
• Use ladders occasionally
• Work in varying environments including hot kitchen areas and walk‑in coolers/freezers
• Communicate clearly with employees, guests, vendors, and leadership teams
