Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy is recruiting a Team Manager for the Assessment & Intervention teams in Exeter and East Devon. The role focuses on guiding social workers in Duty and Assessment to ensure timely interventions and improved outcomes for children and young people.

The post requires Social Work England registration, strong leadership, and the ability to work across four teams with on-site presence in County Hall, Exeter two days per week. Driver with access to own car is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be Social Work England registered and experienced as a Team Manager in Safeguarding and court work.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship skills to lead, support and develop the team.
• Experience across Duty and Assessment teams and collaboration with other managers.

Responsibilities

• Support and guide the practice of social workers in Duty and Assessment Team.
• Ensure interventions are timely to improve outcomes for children and young people.
• Quality assure work and performance manage staff where needed.
• Attend mandatory training and represent the team in meetings on-site as required.
