Eden Brown Synergy is recruiting a Team Manager for the Assessment & Intervention teams in Exeter and East Devon. The role focuses on guiding social workers in Duty and Assessment to ensure timely interventions and improved outcomes for children and young people.
The post requires Social Work England registration, strong leadership, and the ability to work across four teams with on-site presence in County Hall, Exeter two days per week. Driver with access to own car is preferred.
Team Manager required for work within the Assessment & Intervention in Exeter & East Devon. Competitive rates of pay £47.50ph, 3 months initial contracts 37 hours week. Devon offer an Accommodation/commuter allowance up to £150pw.
We're seeking an experienced Team Manager to support and guide the practice of our social workers in our Duty and Assessment Team to ensure our children and young people are receiving the right interventions at the right time, to improve their outcomes.
Our Team Managers make a vital contribution to the delivery of high-quality services and play an important part in quality assuring work and performance managing staff where needed. We are a restorative local authority, our managers are asked to model this approach across our teams and will be expected to attend and engage with mandatory training, which has been a significant investment for us to build, maintain and repair relationships with our children and families. Applicants must be experienced as a Team Manager in Safeguarding and court work and should have strong interpersonal and relationship skills to lead, support and develop the team.
We require a duty team manager to work across our four assessment and intervention teams and to work closely and in collaboration with the team managers of the four teams. Candidates must be able to commit to being on site in County Hall, Exeter 2 days per week and then as required e.g for training and manager meetings.
You will be Social Work England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
