What We Offer
About the Role
Home Instead West Lothian is looking for an experienced People & Performance Manager to take day-to-day leadership responsibility for our frontline team of Care Professionals, reporting to our Registered Care Manager.
This is a hands-on people and team management role within home care, focused on getting the best from our Care Professionals through effective leadership, supervision, coaching, performance management, employee engagement, wellbeing and development.
The focus of this role is our people rather than ownership of client care packages. We are therefore particularly interested in care-sector leaders who enjoy developing colleagues, improving team performance and creating a positive employee experience.
The role may particularly suit an experienced Field Care Supervisor, Care Team Leader, Home Care Team Leader, Domiciliary Care Team Leader, Care Supervisor or Senior Care Coordinator who would like people leadership and staff development to become the main focus of their role.
Experience within home care, domiciliary care, care at home, social care or healthcare is highly desirable, but not essential. We are also interested in experienced managers from other service-led environments who can demonstrate strong formal line-management experience and a track record of developing frontline teams.
Internally, the successful candidate will hold the title Care Professional Experience Manager.
