Job summary

P4 Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead a Help & Protection / Child Protection team in Merseyside on a permanent basis. You will guide social work practice, ensuring safeguarding and child-centred decision making.

This role offers £55,224 per annum, flexible working, and the chance to develop practitioners while delivering high-quality services to children and families.

Qualifications

• Experience in children's social care, especially child protection and safeguarding.
• Evidence of leadership or management experience in social work.
• Understanding of statutory children's services and safeguarding duties.
• Ability to support, develop and motivate practitioners.
• Strong decision-making, communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to achieving positive outcomes for children and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to a team working within help, protection and child safeguarding services.
• Support the delivery of effective social work practice with children at the centre of decision-making.
• Ensure safeguarding concerns are managed appropriately and the right support is provided.
• Support, develop and motivate social work practitioners and maintain high standards of practice.
