Job Description
Job Introduction
Our Parkview service in Watford is a 24-hour residential care home supporting 6 residents with mild, moderate, and profound learning disabilities and complex needs to live independently. Residents have diverse communication, mobility, and health needs. We tailor our services to enable independence and focus on building positive relationships with families and friends, offering person-centered care including activities like shopping, managing budgets, and cooking.
Role Responsibilities
You and your team will develop support plans and risk assessments tailored to each individual, collaborating with families and professionals. Your responsibilities include reviewing plans, liaising with health professionals, chairing meetings, completing Mental Capacity Assessments, and managing DoLS applications.
The Ideal Candidate
We seek adaptable Team Managers experienced in leading support teams in busy environments. You should be capable of managing staff shifts, delegating tasks, overseeing rotas, handling performance issues, and providing coaching and mentoring. Strong communication skills and experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and health issues are essential.
