Job summary

Bluebird Care Mid & West Cornwall is seeking a Team Manager to guide our care team across the Truro area, splitting time between the community and our Truro office. You will report to the Area Manager and oversee schedules, mentoring, supervision, and quality checks to meet CQC standards.

We offer £29,500 a year plus mileage, with support to develop professionally, a Blue Light Card, staff awards and wellbeing initiatives. DBS checks and references will be completed as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team of Support Workers and conducting supervisions.
• Ability to carry out care assessments, care plans and risk assessments.
• Experience auditing records to ensure CQC standards.
• DBS checks and references will be carried out.

Bluebird Care Mid & West Cornwall provides care at home across Mid and West Cornwall and is rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission. Our Support Workers deliver everything from short visits and companionship to live-in care and complex health needs.

We are looking for a Team Manager to join us at the heart of our care team, split between the community and our Truro office, reporting to the Area Manager. You will cover care shifts, lead and mentor a team of Support Workers, carry out supervisions, spot checks and observations, help with assessments, care plans and risk assessments, audit records and make sure we meet CQC standards.

We offer £29,500 a year, mileage at 35p per mile, a Blue Light Card paid for by us, support to complete your Level 3 Diploma, regular supervision, a clear route into more senior roles, staff awards and wellbeing support.

We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role. DBS checks and references will be carried out.
