Bluebird Care Mid & West Cornwall in Truro is seeking a Team Manager to lead our care team across community visits and the Truro office. You will cover shifts, mentor Support Workers, conduct supervisions, spot checks and observations, and support assessments, care plans and risk assessments to ensure CQC standards are met.

Qualifications

• Experience in care at home or community care setting.
• Willing to work towards Level 3 Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Cover care shifts across the community and Truro office.

Job description

Bluebird Care Mid & West Cornwall provides care at home across Mid and West Cornwall and is rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission. Our Support Workers deliver everything from short visits and companionship to live-in care and complex health needs.

We are looking for a Team Manager to join us at the heart of our care team, split between the community and our Truro office, reporting to the Area Manager. You will cover care shifts, lead and mentor a team of Support Workers, carry out supervisions, spot checks and observations, help with assessments, care plans and risk assessments, audit records and make sure we meet CQC standards.

We offer £29,500 a year, mileage at 35p per mile, a Blue Light Card paid for by us, support to complete your Level 3 Diploma, regular supervision, a clear route into more senior roles, staff awards and wellbeing support.

We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role. DBS checks and references will be carried out.

• Experience of working in care at home or a community care setting
• Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care, or willing to work towards it
