Job summary

Peabody is recruiting a Team Manager in Hackney to lead a team of Housing Support Workers in our supported housing properties. You’ll provide supervision, development opportunities, and ensure regulatory compliance while empowering staff to deliver high-quality care to customers, including young people.

The role is full-time, based onsite with a 12-month secondment. You’ll work with multi-agency partners, manage complex needs, and help people live well and independently within Peabody’s values.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing and a strong understanding of statutory and community services.
• Background in providing support to people with complex needs and trauma, ideally as a senior support worker or team manager.
• Proven ability to motivate and manage a team, ensuring high standards of care and support.
• Confidence in assessing and managing individual needs and risks.
• A respectful communicator who upholds the dignity and diversity of every individual.
• Strong networking skills and the ability to build professional relationships that benefit the people we support.
• Excellent time management and the ability to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
• Experience of multi-agency working and liaising with statutory organisations.

We currently have one Team Manager vacancy, based in Hackney as a 12-month secondment opportunity.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Team Manager, you’ll lead and manage a team of Housing Support Workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to customers living in our supported housing properties, supporting young people.
