At Royal Mail's Midlands Super Hub, we're transforming the way parcels move across the UK. As the largest automated parcel facility in our network, the site combines cutting-edge technology, automation and operational expertise to deliver outstanding service for millions of customers.

We're looking for a motivated and people-focused Team Manager to lead colleagues within this exciting environment. You'll play a key role in delivering operational performance, developing talent and creating a culture where people feel supported, engaged and empowered to perform at their best. Working at the centre of one of Royal Mail's most significant investments in modern operations, you'll help drive the future of our parcels business.

You’ll also support colleague development, manage attendance and performance processes fairly, and keep your team informed and engaged through regular communication. In automated areas, you’ll work closely with Engineering colleagues to help maximise equipment performance and productivity.

  • Lead team briefings and maintain clear communication so colleagues understand priorities and performance.
  • Work collaboratively with other operational areas and support functions to deliver continuous improvement and effective service.

You’ll be comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment, balancing the needs of your team with changing business priorities. You’ll also bring a practical, solutions-focused approach and be confident using data to inform your decisions.

What You’ll Bring
  • Experience leading, coaching or developing people in an operational, customer service, logistics or similar environment.
  • Strong communication and people-management skills, including confidence handling performance and attendance conversations.
  • An understanding of health, safety and wellbeing responsibilities.
  • The ability to interpret performance information, solve problems and turn insight into action.
  • Experience supporting change, continuous improvement or new ways of working.
