Job summary

ExamWorks Group in Bolton is seeking an inspirational Team Manager to lead and develop a high performing operational team, delivering exceptional customer service and hitting service targets. You will coach, mentor and conduct reviews, manage workloads, monitor KPIs and collaborate with HR, QA, Sales and Training to drive continuous improvement.

This is a permanent, on-site role offering rewards and progression.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience managing and developing a team.
  • Proven ability to deliver results against KPIs, targets and service levels.
  • Experience setting and managing performance objectives.

About the Role

We are looking for an inspirational and results-driven Team Manager to lead, motivate and develop a high performing operational team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced people leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, driving performance and creating a positive, engaged workplace culture. You will play a key role in developing your team, improving operational efficiency and ensuring service excellence across all areas of responsibility.

As a Team Manager, you will lead by example, champion continuous improvement and support the delivery of key business objectives through effective people management, coaching and performance leadership.

What You'll Be Doing
Leadership & People Management
  • Lead, inspire and motivate a team to deliver outstanding service and achieve operational targets.
  • Manage team workloads and resources to meet internal and external service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Analyse performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Conduct quality audits, observations and coaching sessions to improve service delivery.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across Operations, Quality Assurance, Sales, Training and HR.
  • Support strategic transformation initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  • Help identify and implement efficiencies to improve productivity and reduce operational costs.
Customer & Service Focus
  • Ensure high standards of quality, compliance and customer service are consistently achieved.
  • Investigate root causes of complaints and support preventative solutions.
  • Develop team knowledge and capability to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Support the successful onboarding of new customers and operational requirements.
