Job summary

CareTech is recruiting a Team Leader for our supported living/community services in Stoke-on-Trent. The role is full-time (40.25 hours per week, rota-based) in a permanent placement, delivering high-quality, person-centred care to adults with learning disabilities and autism.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team and drive positive outcomes for individuals. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, be able to work unsociable hours, and hold an enhanced DBS.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a care setting.
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota.
• Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech).

We are recruiting for our supported living, community services in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent city. We support adults with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum disorders to transition from mental health hospitals into a community setting.

We are now recruiting for Team Leaders on a full-time basis. Our Team Leaders are essential for creating a strong foundation for us to develop a professional, safe and comfortable environment, delivering the highest quality, person-centred care.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisation skills along with the ability to provide direct, individual care and support as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will act as a key member of the team, supporting each individual in achievement of their planned outcomes.

You will have the confidence to successfully lead others and demonstrate a positive and motivating attitude at all times. You should have the ability to deal with difficult/crisis situations with a high level of professionalism. In return, you will be valued and encouraged to develop your skills further through our commitment to training and support.
