Job summary

Accord Appointments Ltd is hiring a Team Leader to guide a group of Mentors and Programme Coordinators supporting young people. You’ll foster a positive culture, develop talent, and ensure high-quality participant experiences with energy, support and direction.

You’ll lead by example, coach through regular one-to-ones, use data to drive improvement, build partnerships with employers and local partners, and travel locally as required. This role is office-based with regular local travel.

Qualifications

• Experience leading, coaching or supervising people, ideally within employability, youth services, customer service, welfare-to-work or another target-driven environment.
• Knowledge of employability, youth employment or the local labour market would be a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Mentors and Programme Coordinators.
• Create a positive, ambitious culture where people feel valued and motivated.
• Help your team turn great intentions into measurable results.
• Use performance data and insight to spot opportunities and keep everyone moving forward.
• Coach through regular one-to-ones, observations, feedback and development conversations.
• Make sure participants receive the right support at every stage of their journey.
• Build strong relationships with employers, business and local partners.
• Share ideas and best practice to continually improve the service.
• Recognise great performance while confidently addressing challenges when they arise.
• Champion inclusion, safeguarding, quality and outstanding participant experiences.
