Job summary

Ashfield District Council is seeking an experienced Team Leader to manage our Tenancy & Estate Management and Tenancy Sustainment teams, ensuring high-quality, customer-focused housing management services. Team Leader (Tenancy & Estate Management) Are you an experienced housing professional with a passion for delivering excellent services to tenants and communities? We are seeking an additional permanent full-time Team Leader to manage our Tenancy & Estate Management and Tenancy Sustainment teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused housing management services. You will lead a team responsible for tenancy management, estate management, tenancy sustainment, safeguarding, and responding to anti-social behaviour, while driving service performance and continuous improvement. Working closely with internal teams and partner agencies, you will support tenants to sustain their tenancies, ensure compliance with legislation and regulatory standards, and help create safe, thriving communities. The successful candidate will have experience of housing management, staff supervision, performance management, partnership working, and dealing with complex tenancy issues. Strong communication, leadership and decision-making skills are essential.
