Job summary

Lifeways is seeking a proactive Team Leader for our Supported Living service in Shiremoor. You will lead a team of Support Workers, ensure person-centred care, and support the Service Manager in delivering high-quality services.

You’ll participate in a 24-hour on-call rota, maintain regulatory standards and health & safety, and drive continuous improvement to help people live independently with dignity. NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care is preferred.

Qualifications

• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
• Experience supervising or leading within a care environment

Responsibilities

• Support the Service Manager in delivering high-quality, person-centred care
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Support Workers to perform at their best
• Ensure services meet regulatory standards and health & safety requirements
• Champion continuous improvement and positive outcomes for the people we support
• Play an active role in on-call support, helping your team when it matters most
