Lifeways Group is seeking a Team Leader for South Tyneside to supervise daily care delivery and lead a dedicated team. You will motivate staff, ensure high standards of support, and oversee services for individuals with autism, learning disabilities and mental health needs.

DBS checks apply, with an emphasis on safeguarding and quality outcomes. The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards) and strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working with adults with learning disabilities essential.
• Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs desirable.

About the Role

As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in supervising and supporting the delivery of high-quality care. You’ll lead and motivate your team while ensuring the best outcomes for the individuals we support.

You will oversee support for individuals with:

• Autism
• Mental health needs
• Learning disabilities
• Behaviours that may challenge

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a passionate and committed leader who can inspire others and deliver excellent care.

• Experience working with adults with learning disabilities is essential
• Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs is highly desirable
• NVQ Level 3 (or above) in Health & Social Care, or willingness to work towards it
• Alternatively, a minimum of 2 years’ experience within the learning disability sector
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
