Job summary

Target Housing Ltd is seeking an experienced Team Leader to oversee SHAP and Domestic Abuse projects in Sheffield. The role focuses on leading a staff team, mentoring colleagues, and delivering person-centred support to service users with complex needs.

The position is a fixed-term contract until June 2027, full-time (39 hours per week), with a pro rata salary of £31,010 per annum. The successful candidate will work within a committed team and contribute to safeguarding and trauma-informed

Qualifications

• Experience with psychologically informed approaches and trauma-informed practice.
• Experience supporting people with multiple complex needs.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and risk management practices.
• Experience writing reports for service delivery and outcomes.
• Previous management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate ongoing professional development within the team.
• Lead and participate in team meetings.
• Line manage staff, supervise performance and conduct appraisals.
• Provide oversight of complex cases and mentor staff.
• Manage challenging situations including complaints.
• Attend multi-disciplinary meetings and represent Target Housing.
• Collect data and prepare project activity reports.
• Adhere to Target Housing policies, including Equal Opportunities and Health & Safety.
• Carry out additional duties as directed by senior managers.
