Trafford Leisure is looking for outstanding people to join our team, in the role of Senior Lifeguard.

Location: Altrincham (due to open in early 2025)

Salary: £12.92 per hour

Hours: 39 hours per week

The role: In this role of Team Leader/ Senior Leisure Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring all visitors feel welcome and valued.
• Assist the Duty Manager with daily operations, including opening, closing, and ensuring smooth facility management.
• Manage difficult situations and guide the team in resolving customer concerns effectively.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure consistent, high-quality service for all customers.
• Work with your Manager to identify areas for service improvement and share ideas to meet customer needs.
• Greet visitors warmly, respond to inquiries, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Support sales and retention efforts by engaging with customers, generating leads, and building long-term relationships.
• Ensure equipment is clean, safe, and ready for use.
• Prepare activity areas and equipment to align with scheduled programmes.
• Provide lifeguard support, maintaining a safe swimming environment for all customers.

What We're Looking For in the role of Team Leader/ Senior Leisure Assistant:

• A RLSS Pool Lifeguard Qualification, or a commitment to obtaining one prior to starting.
• Ideally some form of supervisor or team leader experience.
