Job summary

Davenham Switchgear Limited in Nottingham, part of Legrand, is hiring a Team Leader for the Preparation Stage to coordinate and oversee tasks ensuring on-time delivery of components for switchgear powering data centres.

You'll lead daily activities, train colleagues, monitor quality and safety, and collaborate with production management to maintain a clean, efficient work environment. This role supports our UK expansion following Dublin operations.

Responsibilities

• Control plate work, XT1 pin checks, door preparation, cable making, fit Out (Stage 0).
• Leading and organise daily activities in the preparation area.
• Ensure control plates, pins, doors, and cables are prepared to spec and on schedule.
• Support team members with training and development.
• Monitor quality and safety standards across all tasks.
• Communicate effectively with production management and other departments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiative.

Hours: Monday to Thursday - 7.15am till 5.30pm

The Team Leader role will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all tasks in the Preparation Stage including:

• Control plate work, XT1 pin checks, door preparation, cable making, fit Out (Stage 0)


• Leading and organise daily activities in the preparation area
