Job summary

Davenham Switchgear Limited in Nottingham is seeking a Manufacturing Assistant to support assembly and production of electrical switchgear components. You will assist with control plate assembly, trunking/DIN rail cutting, cable preparation, and goods-in inspection.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assembly and manufacturing of switchgear components, including control plate assembly and trunking/DIN rail cutting.
• Prepare cables and perform goods-in inspection.
• Support export packing of switchgear panels.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organisation on the shop floor.
• Collaborate with the team to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.

The Manufacturing Assistant role:

• Assist in the assembly and manufacturing of components for electrical switchgear systems, specifically:
  • Control plate assembly
  • Trunking & DIN rail cutting
  • Cable preparation & assembly
  • CNC engraving machine & label printing
  • Goods in inspection
  • Export packing of switchgear panels
