Job summary

Davenham Switchgear Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Team Leader for the Preparation Stage at our Nottingham site. Salary: £39,600 per year.

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7.15am to 5.30pm. You will oversee the Preparation Stage, lead daily activities, and ensure plates, pins, doors and cables are prepared to specification and on schedule, while supporting training and development and maintaining safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Control plate work, XT1 pin checks, door preparation, cable making, fit Out (Stage 0)
• Leading and organise daily activities in the preparation area
• Ensure control plates, pins, doors, and cables are prepared to spec and on schedule
• Support team members with training and development
• Monitor quality and safety standards across all tasks
• Communicate effectively with production management and other departments
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiative

Team Leader role will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all tasks in the Preparation Stage including:

• Control plate work, XT1 pin checks, door preparation, cable making, fit Out (Stage 0)
• Leading and organise daily activities in the preparation area
• Ensure control plates, pins, doors, and cables are prepared to spec and on schedule
• Support team members with training and development
• Monitor quality and safety standards across all tasks
• Communicate effectively with production management and other departments
