Job summary

Landmarc Support Services is recruiting a Team Leader to support the safe and effective delivery of military training across the Defence Training Estate. You will lead a team of Operatives, coordinating day-to-day activities, supporting range operations and maintaining training areas, infrastructure and equipment to required standards.

This hands-on role involves working alongside your team in a varied outdoor environment and coordinating maintenance across training estates.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead a team in an operational environment.
• Knowledge of grounds maintenance, facilities management, estate maintenance or land management.
• Ability to plan workloads and prioritise tasks.
• Excellent communication skills for effective working.
• IT skills including Microsoft Office and digital record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team, allocating daily tasks and monitoring completion of planned works.
• Carry out inspections of training areas, facilities, infrastructure and equipment.
• Undertake and coordinate grounds and estate maintenance activities.
• Operate plant, machinery and specialist equipment.
• Ensure operational records, inspections and documentation are completed accurately.
• Support contractor activities where required.
• Act as a local point of contact for operational matters.
