Job summary

CareTech UK Ltd is recruiting a Team Leader to oversee night shifts at Selborne Mews in Birmingham. The role is permanent, full-time, 42 hours per week, and pays £13.79 per hour. Applicants must be able to work flexible rota patterns, including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.

The service supports adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. DBS check required; Level 2 NVQ is encouraged and DBS paid for by CareTech.

About the Service – Selborne Mews

Selborne Mews is a residential home that cares for individuals with learning difficulties, disabled and mental health challenges.

Service User Interests

• Arts and crafts
• Days out such as Theme Parks, Meals out, Social activities, Christmas markets etc.
• Holidays and short breaks
• Walks in the local park and community
• Cooking and baking to develop life skills

The Role

You will:

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing

• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins

We’re seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.
