CareTech is recruiting a Team Leader for its service in Sheffield. You will lead a team delivering person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs, while ensuring high standards of care and accurate record-keeping.

The role requires rota-based duties, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins. Training and progression opportunities are provided within a supportive environment.

Formación

• Experience in a Supported Living or Residential Care Environment (2+ years)
• At least 1 year in a Senior or Team Leader role within care
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota
• Enhanced DBS required (CareTech pays)
• Driver's desirable but not essential

About the Service – Oakwood Flats

Oakwood Flats is a registered residential care service supporting adults aged 18+ in a safe, structured, and supportive environment. The service promotes independence, choice, and wellbeing through tailored, person-centred support.

Service User Interests

• Arts and crafts
• Days out such as Theme Parks, Meals out, Social activities, Christmas markets etc.
• Holidays and short breaks
• Walks in the local park and community
• Cooking and baking to develop life skills

The Role

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing
• Support activities, appointments, and community access
• Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team
• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.

No previous experience? No problem! If you have the passion, we’ll provide full training and a structured induction programme.

Requirements

• At least 2 years Experience in a Supported Living or Residential Care Environment
• At least a year in a Senior or Team leader position within care
