Job summary

Brainkind is seeking a compassionate Team Leader to head a Rehabilitation Support Worker team at Kerwin Court in Horsham, delivering specialist neurological care. You’ll work with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and more to drive person-centred outcomes and independence for adults with acquired brain injuries.

Ideal candidates have leadership experience in care, Level 3 Health & Social Care qualifications, strong communication, safeguarding knowledge, and a genuine passion for helping

Qualifications

• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care, or willingness to complete within 12 months.
• Experience supervising or leading a team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety and relevant care legislation.
• Genuine passion for helping people achieve greater independence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and support a team of Rehabilitation Support Workers.
• Ensure person-centred support is delivered in line with rehabilitation plans.
• Promote independence and positive outcomes for people supported.
• Support staff through supervision, coaching and development.
• Maintain high standards of care, professionalism and compliance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimise care.
• Support quality audits, safeguarding, health & safety and incident reporting.
• Build positive relationships with families, professionals and external partners.
• Provide support across other Brainkind services within the division when required.
