Job summary

Brainkind is seeking a Team Leader to supervise a group of support workers in Cramlington. You will ensure quality social and vocational support, manage staff rotas, and uphold regulatory standards in a dynamic care setting.

The role involves leading a multidisciplinary team, coordinating with external partners, and monitoring resources to maintain a safe, homely environment for service users. Part-time, day shifts, with a focus on person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care setting and delivering person-centred support.
• Knowledge of care standards, health and safety and food hygiene.
• Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload with flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of support workers at the location.
• Ensure high standards of care and professional conduct.
• Coordinate rotas, annual leave, and training needs.
• Monitor day-to-day spending and service user monies.
• Contribute to recruitment, induction and staff development.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders and health professionals.
• Support quality audits and safety procedures.
