Job summary

Brainkind in Aylesbury is seeking a Team Leader to guide a team delivering social and vocational support for individuals with brain injury. You will supervise staff, ensure support plans are followed, and work to regulatory standards.

Located at Kent House in Aylesbury, you’ll contribute to a caring, professional service with ongoing training and a strong team ethos. This role offers flexible hours and an hourly rate with weekend enhancements.

Qualifications

• NVQ / QCF Level 3 HSC or willingness to work towards within 12 months.
• Previous experience of working within a care/support environment.
• Knowledge of current relevant legislation relating to care standards, health and safety and food hygiene.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
• Demonstrate ability to be flexible and adaptable in approach, prioritise, plan and organise the work load.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders to support the company's positive reputation.
• Provide line management to a designated team of staff within a location or group of locations.
• Undertake reasonable travel to fulfil tasks and responsibilities; may support other locations.
• Set and communicate high standards of care and professional conduct within the team supervised.
• Lead and support compliance with Brainkind quality audits.
• Lead and support in health and safety duties as appropriate.
• Contribute information for accurate notification of incidents/safeguarding as appropriate.
• Represent Brainkind at meetings and external events where appropriate.
