Job summary

Brainkind is seeking a Team Leader in Cramlington to lead a team of support workers, ensure person-centered care, and manage the site within policy and regulatory standards.

The role is 28 hours per week with a competitive hourly rate up to £15.45. The team will focus on delivering quality social and vocational support, maintaining a safe, homely environment and liaising with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• NVQ / QCF level 3 HSC or willingness to work towards within 12 months.
• Previous experience of working in a care setting.
• Demonstrate ability to be flexible and adaptable in approach, prioritise, plan and organise the workload.
• Excellent communication skills to communicate effectively on all levels.
• Good time keeping, time management attendance skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders to support Brainkind's reputation.
• Provide line management to a designated team at a location or group of locations.
• Undertake reasonable travel to fulfil tasks, including supporting other locations as required.
• Set and communicate high standards of care and professional conduct within the team.
• Lead and support compliance with Brainkind quality audits and health and safety duties.
