Job Title: Team Leader - Manufacturing

Location: Baxter Thetford Plant

Shift: 42 hours per week, 06:00-18:00 / 18:00-06:00, with a weekly shift allowance of £109.86

Role Overview

The Team Leader will oversee the daily operations of line 7, ensuring safety, quality, and delivery. Responsibilities include organizing team routines, performance monitoring, process improvement, recruitment support, and maintaining compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Organize daily team work routines
• Ensure focus on safety, quality, and delivery
• Record hourly performance and intervene when necessary
• Gather data for process and reliability improvements
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Manage absence and performance issues
• Support recruitment processes
• Complete shift reports and performance actions
• Coordinate support for breakdowns
• Assist with change controls, CAPAs, audits, SOPs
• Coordinate training and maintain training records
• Monitor shift performance and identify improvements
• Support quality standards and collaborate with Quality department

Experience & Qualifications

• 2-3 years proven manufacturing experience
• Ability to hold team members accountable
• Leadership and team delivery skills
• Strong GMP knowledge
• Focus on quality delivery
• Attention to detail
• LEAN and 6S methodologies knowledge
