Job summary

Bleckmann Solutions UK Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a permanent Warehouse Floor Supervisor to oversee an assigned area during the 16:00–00:00 shift. The role offers a full-time position with a salary between £28,000 and £33,000, plus a shift allowance based on skills and experience.

You will lead staff, plan labour and activities, and foster a safe, productive environment while aligning with client requirements and KPIs. Experience with JDA WMS and automation is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in logistics, retail, or e‑commerce environments.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams on the warehouse floor.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (JDA preferred).
• Demonstrates attention to safety and continuous improvement mindset.
• Automation exposure is highly desirable.

This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 16:00 - 00:00, with flexibility required during peak periods. The role offers an annual salary between £28,000.00 - £33,00.00, depending on skills and experience, plus an additional shift allowance.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Responsible for managing an assigned floor or area within the warehouse, including operational processes, people, and client relationships; proactively planning labour, equipment, and activities during the shift; and fostering a safe working culture that supports team and individual development.

Key tasks:

• Manage staff and workflow in a designated area
• Ensure safe working practices are followed
• Support team development through coaching and feedback
• Assist with performance management, disciplinary procedures, and absence management in line with company policies
• Drive continuous improvement and support ad hoc projects
• Be accountable for team performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), including productivity, accuracy, and service levels

Profile:

• Leadership experience, preferably in logistics, retail, or e-commerce
• Experienced in managing teams
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems such as JDA
• Delivers accurate, high-quality work while seeking continuous improvement
• Communicates respectfully and inspires team engagement
• Automation experience highly desirable
