Bleckmann Solutions UK Ltd is seeking a skilled shift lead for a designated warehouse area, Monday to Friday, 16:00-00:00 with peak-period flexibility. You will manage teams, ensure stock accuracy, and drive safe, efficient operations while coordinating with colleagues across the warehouse. The role offers an annual salary up to £33,000.00 depending on skills and experience, plus a shift allowance.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Responsible for managing a designated warehouse area, overseeing processes, people, and stock accuracy. Plans labour and activities for the shift while maintaining a safe, efficient, and positive working environment.

Key tasks:

• Lead staff and workflow in your assigned area
• Ensure safe working practices are followed
• Coach and support team development
• Assist with performance, conduct, and absence management
• Drive continuous improvement and support projects
• Ensure team performance meets key KPIs (accuracy, productivity, service)
• Maintain stock accuracy through counting, investigation, and adjustments
• Work closely with operations to ensure efficient stock flow
• Support internal stakeholders with stock-related queries

Profile:

• Leadership experience, ideally in logistics, retail, or e?commerce
• Experienced in managing teams
• Knowledge of WMS (e.g., JDA) and strong Excel skills
• Background in stock control, inventory, production, or quality
• Accurate, quality?focused, and improvement?minded
• Strong communicator who engages and motivates team
• Analytical approach and highly attentive to details
• Automation experience desirable
