Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Team Leader/Manager with proven highways maintenance experience to join our client in Oxfordshire. You will lead a team delivering highway maintenance and drainage schemes across the area, oversee patching and surfacing projects, and conduct site visits for quality control.

The role is a full-time contract with a daily rate of £400-£450 plus expenses, negotiable based on experience. Flexible working arrangements are available.

Job description

An opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader or Manager with experience in Highways Maintenance to join a client in Oxfordshire. Your main duties include managing a team of professionals who are responsible for delivering highway maintenance and drainage schemes across the area, liaising with relevant stakeholders and contractors as well as overseeing patching and surfacing projects and carrying out site visits for quality control.

This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £400 - £450 per day + expenses - negotiable for the right candidate and dependant on experience. Flexible working arrangements are available.

Working within the Highways team your main duties include:

• Managing a team of highway professionals who are responsible for:
  • Assisting with the delivery of highway maintenance and drainage schemes
  • Planning and executing surfacing, patching, drainage and highway improvement projects
  • Carrying out site visits across the area to ensure quality control
  • Liaising with members of the public, stakeholders, emergency services and contractors
