2 Sisters Food Group in Scunthorpe is seeking a First Line Manager (Food Manufacturing) to join the Wholebird department (A shift) on a permanent contract. Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will lead a team of 4 direct reports and around 40 indirect reports, ensuring production lines run safely, efficiently and to high quality standards.

You will drive daily KPIs, coach and develop staff, and uphold World Class Manufacturing practices.

• Experience in FMCG/food manufacturing with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong communication and coaching skills to develop teams.
• Knowledge of GMP and quality standards is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and develop the team to meet daily KPIs and customer expectations.
• Ensure adherence to World Class Manufacturing practices and quality standards.
• Maintain line discipline and follow production plans to avoid deviations.
• Drive productivity and staff morale while ensuring safety and welfare.

2 Sisters Food Group in Scunthorpe is looking for a First Line Manager on a permanent contract to join our Wholebird department (A shift).

About The Role

Reporting to the Shift Manager, as aFirst Line Manageryou will have 4 direct reports (Team Leaders) and approximately 40 indirect reports. You will take ownership of production line output across various lines in the Wholebird operation, ensuring each line operates efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead,support, anddevelopyour team to meet daily KPIs and customer expectations.
• Always Ensure adherence toWorld Class Manufacturing Practicesand quality standards.
• Maintain strong line discipline and follow specific packing and production plans – no overpacking, no deviations.
• Drive productivity andmoralewhile maintaining staff welfare and safety.
• Takeownershipof the training, coaching, and development of your team.

It’s essential that you have experience in an FMCG/Food Manufacturing environment along with demonstrable experience of leading and motivating a team.

You’ll be a confident and motivated leader with a background in FMCG or food manufacturing. For those that don’t come from food production specifically – we’ll provide full food safety training.
