2 Sisters Food Group Limited in Scunthorpe is recruiting Team Leaders for the Cutting department. Roles involve managing 10–15 operatives on a fast-moving line, training staff, and ensuring safety and compliance.

Shifts run 06:00–14:30 on Sat and 14:30–23:00 Mon-Fri, with hourly pay of £15.00 and a 1.2x uplift on Saturdays. The site emphasizes teamwork, discipline, and adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a small team in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
• IOSH Managing Safety and Food Safety Level 2/3.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day operations of 10-15 staff on a fast-moving food line.
• Complete relevant documentation and ensure SOP adherence.
• Train colleagues within the department to follow SOPs.
• Supervise safety, PPE and well-being of staff.
• Meet production orders based on FLM directions and respond quickly.
• Monitor wastage and maintain high housekeeping standards.

Team Leaders within our Cutting department.

These opportunities are available on our

06:00-14:30 Mon-Sat and 14:30-23:00 Mon-Fri.

The Team Leader positions are hourly paid and attract a rate of £15.00 per hour (x1.2 paid for Saturday).

Job Description

About The Role

As a Team Leader you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of 10-15 staff on a fast-moving food line.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

• Efficient teamworking, ensuring a cohesive operational unit.
• Completion of relevant documentation efficiently and appropriately.
• Training of colleagues within your department, to adhere to SOPs.
• Supervise the safe working and well-being of all employees deployed within your area of operations.
• Ensuring your team are equipped with the correct safety equipment (PPE) for the appropriate task and ensure it is used as per training requirements.
• To meet orders in the given time, team leaders will receive orders from their FLM and will need to be able to act on them promptly.
• Monitor and maintain minimal product and material wastage.
• Ensure adherence to the strict housekeeping and hygiene standards expected by the company and its customers.

It is of paramount importance that your line operates as a team, including and supporting one another to achieve production targets.

• Site, Company and Product knowledge in order to help tutor and coach operatives within your team when necessary (training and support will be given to external applicants.

• Food Safety level 2/3
• A good standard of understanding with maths and English.
