Job summary

Selco Builders Warehouse is seeking a proactive branch leader to drive high customer service standards and strong team performance in a busy London-area store. The role involves managing daily sales desk operations and ensuring efficient service, while steering sales and margins to achieve targets.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Managing the daily operation of the sales desk to provide fast, friendly and efficient service.
• Driving the branch sales and margin plan to meet targets and KPIs, and building relationships with trade customers.
• Using performance data and customer insights to improve sales, profitability and team performance.
• Coaching colleagues to develop product knowledge, commercial awareness and customer service skills.
• Supporting the wider branch management team and acting as the most senior leader on duty.
• Ensuring safety, security and compliance procedures are followed across the branch.
• 37.5 hours per week.
