About The Role

Cornerstone is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant eager to advance to a Senior role and join our award-winning team.

Kitnocks House is a 63-bed service comprising four specialised units, each providing high-quality, tailored care for residents with complex conditions. We focus on the person behind the diagnosis in a warm, safe, and supportive environment, proudly rated Good by the CQC.

Working Hours:

Our shift pattern offers more personal time with a 7 out of 14 day cycle:

• Week A - 3 days: Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday, 07:30 to 20:00
• Week B - 4 days: Monday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday, 07:30 to 20:00

Average weekly hours: 40.25.

Pay Rate:

• Starting at £14.52, increasing to £15.00 after completing NVQ Level 3 (fully funded).

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' UK care experience (essential)
• NVQ Level 2 in health & social care, with willingness to pursue NVQ Level 3
• Emotional resilience and calmness in challenging situations
• Supportive attitude towards adults with complex needs
• Compassionate, caring nature
• Genuine desire to make a difference
• Good communication skills
• Reliability and positivity
• Teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and undertake training, including Care Certificate
